In what most would have assumed to be the twilight of Nas’ career, he’s found the site of his renaissance. King’s Disease III marks a quadruple-down collaboration between Nas, a Queensbridge emcee in his golden years, and Hit-Boy, San Bernardino producer precisely in his prime. With now three chapters in the King’s Disease series since 2020—plus 2021’s Magic, a titular detour for the duo—their chemistry is quickly and consistently proliferating impressive material. Largely by resisting any urge to overcomplicate the performances on this record, Nas and Hit-Boy have succeeded together, yet again, by embracing consistency, variety, and the easy-going listening experience. – DeVán (7.5/10)

If Illmatic grew up to become an OG it would be KDIII. A true New York Hip-Hop masterpiece. What also makes it so beautiful is that I thought the OGs from that era of hip-hop were finished making music on that level. There's no denying Nas in the GOAT conversation. And Hit-Boy is truly amazing. -- anonymous community member (10/10)
Best of the King's Disease series. A solid album with few flaws -- @zachkrukowski (7.5/10)
